Provide A Guarantor
The landlord of the property you have applied for has indicated they require you to have a guarantor to secure your tenancy. This can be a friend or family member to act as a personal guarantor, or you can apply for our Professional Guarantor service.
IMPORTANT
Personal guarantors must be UK-based and must pass reference checks to show a strong income. As tenants are usually “jointly and severally liable,” your guarantor must also agree to be responsible for the full rent for the duration of your tenancy.
Guarantors cover unpaid rent as a last resort. Even if your guarantor pays, eviction proceedings may still begin if you haven’t paid your rent in full and on time — so it’s vital to keep up with your payments.
No Guarantor? No Problem!
If you don’t have a suitable guarantor or prefer not to involve family or friends, you could instead nominate The Lettings Hub as your guarantor. Just enter the rent for your tenancy below to get a quick quote for this service.
