About The Lettings Hub
The Lettings Hub are a prop-tech company who provide technology driven products and services to manage lettings. We work with a national network of letting agents and provide a range of services to help our clients with the move-in process. This includes completing the necessary checks on potential tenants before they move into a landlord’s property, as well as a range of additional property insurance products and services to support the letting agent, tenant and the landlord.
Job Description
- Lead a team managing all financial operations across the business.
- Ensure timely production of management accounts and statutory accounts.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Implement robust financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the compliance and quality assurance functions, ensuring adherence to FCA regulations.
- Manage regular quality control reporting requirements and liaise with the FCA on all relevant matters.
- Ensure all regulatory reporting is completed accurately and on time.
- Provide comprehensive and accurate MI reporting to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with the CEO on strategic initiatives to drive business growth and development.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to align with long-term business objectives.
- Engage and negotiate with investors to secure funding and support for the business.
- Communicate financial performance, projections, and strategic insights effectively to stakeholders
Knowledge & Experience
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and expertise, while being ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, coupled with a proven track record of success in senior financial leadership roles within fast-paced and dynamic environments. Key attributes include:
- Extensive hands-on experience in accounting, financial management, and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly in FCA-regulated businesses, with experience liaising with regulatory bodies.
- A strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proven ability to drive profitability and contribute to business growth through innovative financial strategies.
- A track record of delivering results at a senior level, including managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Skilled in investor relations, including securing funding and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex financial information to a wide range of audiences.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to inspire confidence and build strong working relationships.
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-focused organization.

This is a rare opportunity for a commercially driven Finance Director to take ownership of a critical role within a progressive and ambitious organization during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £85,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday – Friday
