InsureStreet (t/a as Canopy) acquired The Lettings Hub and Let Insurance Services Ltd in April of this year creating a group of complementary businesses. We work with a national network of letting agents and provide a range of services to help our customers, Landlords and tenants; using advanced tech platforms. One of our platforms (BOX), was 2024’s Rental Management Platform of the Year, and we are one of the market leading providers of solutions to the private rental sector. We help over 350,000 tenants move home each year and protect millions of pounds of UK rent.
Based in Peterborough, we operate in a rapidly growing property services sector, specialising in referencing, insurance, tenancy compliance, credit control, and commissions. We pride ourselves on operational efficiency and innovative reporting in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.
Job Description
- Reports directly to the CFO with high visibility across the business.
- Collaborates with finance, operations, and admin teams.
- Oversees accurate and efficient month-end closes.
- Ensures timely and correct invoicing across multiple products.
- Calculates and processes monthly and quarterly agent commissions.
- Produces reports on timesheets, productivity, and work-in-progress.
- Generates bespoke and recurring reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports finance integration for new product launches.
- Performs pre-month-end checks to align finance and management data.
- Automates and improves monthly and quarterly financial processes.
- Assists the credit control team with queries and tasks.
- Manages Direct Debit changes and updates CRM systems accordingly.
- Reconciles intercompany transactions, restricted funds, client money, commission payables, and balance sheet items.
- Maintains agent data within the accounts platform.
- Oversees FTP/API systems for data transfer.
- Provides technical support and VBA troubleshooting across teams.
- Responds to ad hoc requests from client relationship managers, customer teams, and operations.
- Handles VAT reconciliation and group submissions.
- Reviews rent-affordability index quarterly (if required).
Essential Skills
- AAT qualified, Part of Full Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Advanced Excel skills (ideally including VBA)
- Comfortable with financial reporting, reconciliations & journals
- Experience handling direct debits, invoicing, and commission structures
- Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail
- Adaptable, logical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per year
If targets are met there is a monthly performance bonus payable for this role.
