Nick and Amy – Hubster Birthdays!

We take great joy in celebrating Hubster Birthdays! This week marked the celebration of two significant milestones. Nick, our Finance Director, celebrated his 1st anniversary last week, while Amy, our UX Designer and BOX Owner, marked a remarkable 10-year journey over the weekend!


We take great joy in celebrating Hubster Birthdays! This week marked the celebration of two significant milestones. Nick, our Finance Director, celebrated his 1st anniversary last week, while Amy, our UX Designer and BOX Owner, marked a remarkable 10-year journey over the weekend!

Despite the distinctiveness of their anniversaries, we couldn’t imagine The Hub without either of them. In light of these special occasions, we invited both Nick and Amy to share their reflections on their time at The Lettings Hub by answering some questions:

Tell us about you and your role here at The Lettings Hub Nick.

I am the Finance Director here at The Lettings Hub, In the year I have been in the business I have seen a significant amount of change across the business: We have gained many great new customers and introduced new products including product bundling, which is a fantastic bespoke lettings product that can be tailored to our agencies individual needs.

Amy, what does your role consist of now and how has it changed over the last 10 years?

I can’t believe I’ve now been with the business for 10 years! I actually first joined as a Marketing Assistant and worked within the marketing department for many years. As we were a smaller team back then, my design skills meant I often worked closely with our Change and Technology teams to provide UX designs for new system features. As the BOX platform developed, so too did my interest in UX and UI design and, after completing a Chartered Institute for IT qualification, last year I was able to transition to a fulltime role as UX Designer and BOX platform owner for The Lettings Hub which I am loving!

How has The Lettings Hub changed since you started 10 years ago Amy?

The Lettings Hub has changed massively since I started, beginning life as a traditional referencing and insurance provider to now being one of the leading prop-tech businesses providing genuinely innovative tech solutions to solve letting agent pain points.

You have now been immersed into the Hubster life for a year Nick, how are you finding it?

I really love being a Hubster, and being part of this fast-paced and adaptable business, where everyone really respects and cares about delivering great solutions and service for our clients. Everyone here is hands on, and so you feel accountable to being the best and delivering for the team.  

What are you excited for going into 2024 Amy?

2024 is going to be another innovative year as we already have a full roadmap of BOX enhancements and product deliveries. I’m really looking forward to working on these new features to make our clients’ lives easier and take BOX to the next level, as well as tackling the changes that will be required for Rent Reform – I like a challenge and the lettings market never fails to deliver on that!

What are you excited for going into 2024 Nick?

Looking to 2024, I am excited to see the business continue to push ourselves to deliver ambitious growth plans and investment in BOX. Our people are really important to the business and we are bringing in new resources to support our growth and client acquisition, plus re-investing some of our success on new employee initiatives and development programmes.
