View Tenant Preferences
When a tenancy reaches ‘Step 4 – Tenant Preferences’ the tenants are invited to confirm the following, depending on which services your branch benefits from:
Whether they wish to pay a tenancy deposit or use a deposit alternative (either our Deposit Replacement Insurance or Reposit)
Lead tenant onlyWe need to contact the lead tenant to make them aware of their utility obligations and will always attempt to contact them, however here they can select a preferred date and time for us to call.
Lead tenant only (optional)Whether they require a tenants insurance quote. If not, they must confirm whether they or their co-tenant holds insurance with another provider, or if they just do not want to purchase any insurance for their new tenancy.
All tenantsTenants can choose to purchase online here, request a call from our insurance team or confirm that they will call us for a quote.
You can track the progress of each applicant through the Step 4 process and monitor their responses from within the ‘Applicants’ section of the tenancy record.
Once all tenants have completed all tasks at Step 4, a new section ‘Tenancy Preferences’ will display on the tenancy record so you can always see the answers that were provided at this step.
Deposit type
If the lead tenant has selected to use your deposit replacement scheme instead of paying a tenancy deposit, you can view the cover record for this tenancy by clicking the ‘View’ link.
Otherwise it will display as ‘Reposit’ if this was offered as an option, or ‘Tenancy deposit’ if they have chosen to pay a traditional deposit.
