All you need to know about referencing

Temporary changes to our opening hours
To ensure we continue to offer the best service possible, as of Monday 6th April 2020 we will be making some temporary changes to our tenant referencing opening hours:
Our referencing team will now be available on your usual number Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 5:30pm and Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Years of experience at senior level in the tenant referencing industry means our key people have an unrivalled understanding of the needs of letting agents. This is why some of the biggest names in the industry now trust us to provide them with first class support; and the reason why we keep growing. Nowadays, we help over 20,000 tenants move home every month, yet we still offer the same level of personal service that our customers tell us they like.

Not only do we work with you to find solutions to help you let properties safely, we're also here to help you safeguard your relationship with landlords. You can always rely on us to be the first in the industry to come up with innovative, money-saving products; designed with you in mind. Take our newly launched brand new referencing platform for instance, which makes online tenant referencing processes incredibly easy, freeing up your staffs' valuable time.

When it comes to finding suitable tenants, we pride ourselves on the extent and thoroughness of our referencing checks and provide five-page detailed reports on tenants; giving you extra peace of mind. Everything we do is designed to take into account the increased risks that letting agents face with the number of fraudulent tenants on the increase. That's why our unique product, Tenant Monitor, is included as standard on all our tenancy referencing reports. This allows us to check your tenant's credit record throughout the term of the tenancy and not just at the start. This means that if a tenant's circumstances change, you'll be the first to know; allowing you to make informed choices about their long-term suitability. We’ll also help you administer your ‘Right to Rent’ legislation.

We never decline a tenant without talking to you first to discuss alternative options. We’ll also obtain and pass leads to you when we know the existing tenant is leaving and the landlord is happy to be contacted. From day one of our working partnership, you will be issued with your own Customer Relationship Manager, as well as a dedicated ‘moving mentor’ for any tenant who walks through your door and needs their hand-holding through the process.
