Renters’ Rights Survey Results | Part Three

Five months after the implementation of the main Renters’ Rights Act reforms, letting agents feel well prepared for the new regime. But their confidence in their own processes is not matched by confidence in the courts and the possession system supporting them.

Our survey found that 98% of agents felt prepared for implementation and 89% are confident they have the processes to remain compliant. Yet 95% lack confidence that the courts can handle increased demand, while 61% say managing landlord expectations has been their biggest challenge.

In the final of our three-part series, we explore this gap alongside the latest possession statistics and evidence of wider pressures on the courts. We examine what agents can control, where uncertainty remains and how they can help landlords navigate the new system with realistic expectations.
