The Lettings Hub are a prop-tech company who provide technology driven products and services to manage lettings. We work with a national network of letting agents and provide a range of services to help our clients with the move-in process. This includes completing the necessary checks on potential tenants before they move into a landlord’s property, as well as a range of additional property insurance products and services to support the letting agent, tenant and the landlord.
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project or Change Manager to play a critical role in a significant digital transformation project at The Lettings Hub. You’ll be responsible for the project planning and delivery of the strategic roadmap for our ‘BOX’ prop-tech platform. Working closely with the Change team, business teams and international software development teams, you’ll be part of a group who deliver and integrate best in breed products & services to provide a simpler rental journey to letting agents, tenants, and landlords.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated and self-disciplined, they must be an effective planner and organiser, able to work to time-scales and at pace and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. They must understand the importance of the role they are undertaking.
Key Responsibilities
- Project and Resource Planning including setting milestones and key deliverables, managing scope, change control and the day to day deliverables against agreed project plans.
- Working with our Business Analysts and Development teams to understand and capture requirements across workstreams and ensure outputs are appropriately planned.
- Preparing project status reporting and communicating to all stakeholders, including the project sponsor and stakeholders at project stage gate reviews.
- Creation and management of the appropriate project controls and processes to ensure delivery of the project within the agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Ensuring efficient change control methods and processes are in place and utilized.
- Leading day to day execution of project tasks, facilitate communication, escalate as required and drive progress of project plans in a ‘hands-on’ way.
- Tracking issues and risks, driving prioritisation and timely resolution.
- Driving completion of project deliverables as needed, including system requirements, user acceptance test plans and training plans.
- Working with the development team to ensure that sprint goals are achieved and development projects are managed appropriately.
Essential Skills
- A strong track record in the successful project management of software/IT projects including working with development teams. Hands-on project management experience within the lettings, prop-tech or insurance industries would be beneficial.
- Technical project management skills and the ability to apply different methodologies as required (PRINCE2 / Agile (SCRUM) / Design Sprints)
- Experience across a range of platforms (JIRA, Oracle, SAP or other similar project management tools)
- Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced and driven working environment
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders across multiple workstreams concurrently.
- A relevant Qualification or formal training in PM or BA would be ideal though not essential.
