The Renters’ Rights Bill brings major changes for landlords and agents. Rent increase clauses will be banned, Section 13 Notices will be mandatory, and notice periods for rent hikes will extend to two months. Tribunals can only approve rent increases up to the proposed amount or lower, protecting tenants.
